Mitt Romney 'Hang' Obama Gaffe?

A response to the Huffington Post article Mitt Romney's 'Hang' Obama gaffe.

Republicans create the situation and then try to pin it on Obama. If you want to know why families are being squeezed, look at the Republican's budget, look at the history of tax revenues (1/3 of tax revenues used to be from corporations), look at the capital gains tax, the estate tax, and the stagnation of low- and middle-class wages. Republicans want to get rid of Medicare, Social Security, EPA, the Consumer Protection Agency, the SEC, etc., etc., etc.

Sure, let's cut heating assistance for grandma, give more tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires, deregulate and defund agencies, create a boom and bust economy, and then blame Obama for everything.

Well, I guess Romney did not note that the Great Recession happened under Bush and the Republican congress, and that it happened primarily because of their repeal of laws separating banking from investments. And did he not study the history of our soaring debt under Republican presidents, especially with the Bush tax cuts?

Has Romney no conscience? Is he still complaining about "the forcible taking of the fruits of one man's labor to provide the bread for another man's table"? All the while, of course, forcing lower income people to pay a much higher percentage of their income in taxes than the wealthy, and while forgetting that the wealthy don't work, their money does.

Forget Romney's "hang" gaffe. The man has bigger moral problems.
